Job Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care and hygiene

  • Monitor and document vital signs and health status

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Collaborate with RNs and healthcare professionals to update care plans

  • Provide emotional support and health education to residents and families

Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia (CRNNS)

  • Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care preferred

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
