CAD Staffing Inc is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the surgical unit at a major hospital in Edmonton. The LPN will provide pre- and post-operative care, monitor patients’ recovery, and assist with wound care.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and patient status following surgery

• Administer medications and wound care treatments

• Assist with patient education on post-operative care

• Collaborate with RNs and surgeons to ensure quality care

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Qualifications

• Registered Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)

• Minimum 2 years surgical or acute care experience preferred

• Current ACLS and CPR certification

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
