Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct prenatal and postpartum assessments and monitor maternal health

  • Assist with labor support and newborn care procedures

  • Provide education to mothers and families on breastfeeding, nutrition, and infant care

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans

  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation

Qualifications

  • Registered Licensed Practical Nurse with the  College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

  • Experience in maternity or maternal-child nursing preferred

  • Current CPR and neonatal resuscitation certification an asset

  • Compassionate approach and excellent communication skills
