CAD Staffing Inc is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care in a mental health facility in Ajax. The LPN will support patients with mental health conditions by monitoring symptoms, administering medications, and assisting with therapeutic activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients’ mental and physical health status

  • Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

  • Administer psychotropic medications safely

  • Document patient progress and communicate with multidisciplinary team

  • Support patients in daily living activities and therapeutic programs

Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

  • Experience in mental health nursing preferred

  • Excellent communication and empathy skills

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
