CAD Staffing Inc is hiring an LPN to provide compassionate care in a mental health facility in Calgary. The nurse will support patients with mental health conditions by monitoring symptoms, administering medications, and assisting with therapeutic activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients’ mental and physical health status
  • Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
  • Administer psychotropic medications safely
  • Document patient progress and communicate with multidisciplinary team
  • Support patients in daily living activities and therapeutic programs

Qualifications

  • Registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Experience in mental health nursing preferred
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong communication and empathy skills
