About the Role

CAD Staffing Inc is looking for a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care in a mental health facility in a Hamilton hospital. The LPN will support patients with mental health conditions by monitoring symptoms, administering medications, and assisting with therapeutic activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor patients’ mental and physical health status

  • Administer psychotropic medications safely

  • Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

  • Support patients in daily living activities and therapeutic programs

  • Document patient progress and communicate with multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Registered Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

  • Minimum 2 years experience in mental health nursing preferred

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification

  • Strong communication and empathy skills
