CAD Staffing Inc is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care in a mental health facility in Mississauga. The role involves supporting patients with mental health conditions by monitoring symptoms, administering medications, and assisting with therapeutic activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques

  • Monitor patients’ mental and physical health status

  • Administer psychotropic medications safely

  • Support patients in daily living activities and therapeutic programs

  • Document patient progress and communicate with multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Licensed Practical Nurse registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)

  • Minimum 1 year experience in mental health nursing preferred

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
