CAD Staffing Inc is hiring an LPN for a surgical unit in a Calgary hospital. The nurse will provide pre- and post-operative care, monitor patients’ recovery, and assist with wound care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor vital signs and pain levels post-surgery
  • Assist with dressing changes and wound care
  • Administer medications and IV therapies as directed
  • Provide patient education on post-op care and recovery
  • Collaborate with RNs and surgeons to update care plans

Qualifications

  • Registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Minimum 2 years surgical or acute care experience preferred
  • Current ACLS and CPR certification
  • Strong clinical assessment skills
