Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor post-operative patients’ vital signs and pain levels

  • Manage airway and consciousness recovery

  • Administer pain relief and medications

  • Educate patients and families on post-op care

  • Document patient outcomes and discharge readiness

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI)

  • 2+ years in surgical or recovery room nursing

  • ACLS and PACU training required

  • Strong post-op assessment skills

  • Ability to work in high-alert, short-duration cases
